How to Post on a Student's Portfolio

ClassDojo Student Portfolios offer students a fantastic way to showcase their work and creativity! Students can easily post text, photos, and files (web only), as well as videos (app only) to their portfolios. This feature allows them to share their accomplishments, reflect on their learning, and keep track of their progress. It's a fun and interactive way for students to engage with their educational journey and share their achievements with teachers and parents. Follow these steps to learn how students can post to their ClassDojo Portfolios!

From the Web

You can post text, photos, files (web only), and video (app only) onto a student’s Portfolio! Here's how:

  1. Open a class from your dashboard
  2. Select "Portfolios" from the menu near the top of the screen
  3. Select whichever student you'd like to add a post to from the left side of the screen
  4. Select "+ Add post"
  5. Add a photo, file, and/or text and select "Post"

From the App

You can post text, photos, files (web only), and video (app only) onto a student’s Portfolio! Here's how:

  1. Open a class from your dashboard
  2. Select whichever student you'd like to add a post to their Portfolio
  3. At the top of the screen, tap the "Profile" button
  4. Tap the "+" button to add a post
  5. Add the photo(s), video, or text you would like to post or, after selecting the picture gallery icon from the bottom left corner, choose the photo(s)/video you would like to post from your gallery
  6. If you would like to post to more than one student’s Portfolio, select “1 portfolio” and choose which students' Portfolios that you would like to share this post onto (Please note: This feature is only available when you go to submit a Portfolios post for a student, not when a student is submitting their own post for your approval.)
  7. Select "Post"
