When your child moves to a new class or school, we want to make sure you're able to stay focused on the most current updates! Here's how you can tidy up your ClassDojo Parent account, so it only shows your current connections.
Removendo uma classe ou professor anterior:
At the end of the school year, teachers typically archive their classes. When that happens:
- You’ll no longer be able to message the teacher.
- You’ll still see past Stories and Portfolio posts, but they’ll move lower in your feed when you connect to a new class and the teacher starts sharing posts.
Still seeing an active class from a previous teacher?
- If you can still message them, it means their class hasn’t been archived.
- In this case, we recommend reaching out to the teacher or school and asking them to archive the class.
Removendo uma escola:
When your child has transitioned to a new school, you have a couple of different ways that you can "Leave" the previous school, so you no longer see updates for the previous school in your account!
1. You can "Leave" the school on the App from your iOS or Android device:
Leaving the school in your settings will hide the school from your feed and prevent new posts from this school from appearing in your account. Here's how you can do this:
- Open your Parent account on the app
- Select the "Kids" tab
- Tap on the gear icon
- Tap "Manage Connections"
- Click "Leave" to the right of the school's name
- Select "Yes, leave school" to leave the school
Please note- The action of "Leaving" the school will not remove all the posts from the old school. It will prevent you from seeing new posts from this school in your feed. If you would like to remove all posts from that school, you will need to delete the student profile from your account.
