DojoCast: Syncing Toolkit and Your Computer

Exciting news! With DojoCast, you can sync your Toolkit between your mobile app and computer for seamless classroom management. While the Toolkit feature set is conveniently located at the bottom of your classroom screen on your computer, you can also operate it directly from the ClassDojo app and cast it to your computer. This makes it easier than ever to engage with your students and manage classroom activities. Follow these steps to learn how to use DojoCast to sync your Toolkit and computer!

From the Web

To Do This:

  1. Log into the website and app using the same login email and password
  2. Open the toolkit by swiping left and selecting 'More' at the top of the class
  3. Select the feature you wish to use
  4. Tap on the "START DOJOCAST" button to start your cast

From the App  

To Start Casting:

  1. Log in to the website and app using the same login email and password
  2. Open Toolkit and select your feature
  3. Tap on the "START DOJOCAST" button to start your cast

Want to stop?  No problem!  Simply tap the "Stop" button.  You can also restart at any time by tapping "START DOJOCAST" again.

💡 Troubleshooting Tips

Start by checking the following:

  • Ensure that the app is up to date.  Delete the app and reinstall the app to ensure you have the latest app that is fully functional.
  • Ensure that you're using the latest version of Chrome.  You can check your browser version here.
  • Check your login details.  You should be logged into the same account on the website and on the app, using the same email address and password.
  • Check your browser's privacy/security settings.  Click on the lock in your browser's address bar and ensure that pop-ups are unblocked and that your microphone is set to on (for features like Noise Meter)
