How to Create and Give a Zero-Point Skill

Creating a point worth 0 in ClassDojo can be useful for recognizing behaviors or actions without affecting the overall points balance. This feature allows you to acknowledge specific actions or events neutrally, providing flexibility in your classroom management. Setting a point value to 0 is simple and can be tailored to fit your unique needs. Follow these steps to learn how to create a point worth 0 in ClassDojo!

Please Note:

• If the zero-point skill is created under the "Positives" category, you should hear the normal "Positives" skill sound.  
• If the zero-point skill is created under the "Needs Work" category, you should hear a completely different sound to distinguish it from other "Needs Work" skills.
• A zero-point skill that falls in the "Needs Work" category will be designated by a yellow point bubble to distinguish it from any negative point values.

From the Web

1. Open your class
2. Click the "Options" button on the top right
3. Select "Edit Class”
   
4. Select the "Skills" tab 
5. Hover over a skill and select "Edit" or the “Add skill” tile to create a new skill
   
6. Click on the "Point weight" drop-down menu and select "0"
7. Click "Save"
