Class chats are a great way to easily bring all families connected to a class together in one place so teachers can stop answering the same questions over and over — and let families coordinate birthdays and playdates. This chat is visible to all families and teachers connected to the class so the classroom teacher can monitor the conversation, if necessary. Teachers can also moderate the Class Chat by deleting messages and removing individual users.
As a School Leader, you have the ability to control communication settings at your school by enabling or disabling Class chats for your whole school. If Class chats are disabled, teachers will not be able to turn this feature on in any class at your school. If Class chats are enabled, teachers will still need to turn this feature on manually on a class-by-class basis.
Please note: Turning the Class Chat off will remove this conversation from view for all connected users.
