Personal classes are classes in your account that are not connected to a school. The students in these classes are not listed in a School’s Directory.
How can I access my Personal Classes?
To access your Personal Classes on the website:
- Log into your account.
- In the left-hand sidebar, scroll past your school-connected classes.
- Look for the “Classes without a school” section.
- Click the section to expand and view all of your Personal Classes.
- Click a class name to open it.
Any Personal Classes that you're connected to will appear under this section on the ClassDojo Website!
To access your Personal Classes on the apps:
On iOS:
- Tap the "Classes" section from the bottom of the screen
- This will display all classes that you have access to, including school-connected and Personal Classes
☝️Note: You will only see the School-connected classes that are part of the directory of the school you are toggled into, along with all Personal Classes
On Android:
- Open the ClassDojo app and log in.
- Open the Class Page in your account
- Scroll down to Personal Classes.
- Tap the section to expand the view, then tap on a class to open it
How can I connect a Personal Class to a School?
If you’re the owner of a Personal Class, you can transfer this class to a school that you're approved in on the ClassDojo website following these steps:
- Log into your account.
- From the sidebar, click your school name to expand the menu.
- Click “Personal Classes.”
- Choose the class you want to transfer.
- In the top right corner, click “Options.”
- Select “Transfer to school” at the bottom of the dropdown.
- Choose the school you’d like to connect it to.
- Click “Transfer class” to confirm.
Once transferred, the class will be added to your school's Directory! Any students connected to the class will now appear under the "Students" tab, and their connected family members will be able to see the School Story.
