FAQs
Who can sign up for a slot?
Any teacher or family can sign up for an event signup slot.
Who can remove a signup?
Only the teacher in the class or the family member who signed up can remove this. Families cannot remove each other's signups.
Will users be reminded of their signup selections?
At this time, users will receive a notification based on the event reminders set. They will not receive an additional notification if they have signed up for a slot.
All of my spots filled up! Can I add more?
Of course! Just edit the event to view the event details and then add as many additional spots as you. need.
What can other families see?
If a user signs up for a slot, any users who can view the event can see the first name and last initial of the user who signed up for a slot.
I only want family volunteers. Can I keep other staff from signing up?
Not at this time. However, this is something we've got on our roadmap! In the meantime, we recommend clearly communicating this with staff (or including it in the event details) and removing any staff signups using the steps above.
Can users claim more than one signup slot?
Yes! If users would like to sign up for more than one thing, they can do so by following the steps above. There is not currently a way to prevent this but teachers can remove any duplicates, if desired.
