How Do School Leaders Delete A Class?

Classes cannot be deleted in an active account. We work with an Archival system instead. Classes can be archived (hidden from your menu of classes and hidden from parents) by the owner or a co-teacher of a class. The owner of the class can also un-archive a class if needed.

As a School Leader/Admin, you can archive the classes from the Directory. At the end of the school year, if students remain in your school (such as moving from second grade to third grade), you will want to “Archive” the class. This removes the class from the parent’s account while keeping the student and the parent in the School Directory. Other teachers in your school will then be able to import students from the School Directory to their new class while maintaining any previously established parent connections! Old Story and Portfolio posts will remain in the parent’s account.
