A. A ClassDojo school is one that intends to use ClassDojo schoolwide to help their community stay connected—inside the classroom and out. Along with the convenience of having all your school communication in one place, ClassDojo Schools get access to sweet perks like early access to new features and exclusive resources, support & training!
Q. What do I need to do to become a ClassDojo School?
A. To identify your school as a ClassDojo School, go to www.classdojo.com/schools and click “Get Started”. Once you create your account or login, follow this schoolwide setup guide to invite staff and teachers to join your School, add students to your Directory, and invite families to build your community!

Q. How is this different than how my school is currently using ClassDojo?
A. For schools already using ClassDojo schoolwide, we want to know! Signing up as a ClassDojo School allows our team to recognize your school and celebrate your community. Identifying these schools allows us to offer extra training & implementation resources, early access to new features. For schools that aren't schoolwide, but want to be, reach out so our team can guide you through this process.
Q. Will I lose any current features if my school doesn't sign up to be a ClassDojo School?
A. All current features will still be accessible in school leader and teacher accounts even if the school they are connected to is not a ClassDojo School.
Q. Do all teachers at my school have to use ClassDojo to be considered a ClassDojo School?
A. While there are benefits to all teachers having a ClassDojo account to engage with colleagues, families, and students, it isn’t necessary that every staff member in a school have a ClassDojo account.
Q. How do I know if my school is already signed up?
A. Once a school has signed up, teacher and school leader accounts connected to the school will see a green star icon next to their School Name when they log in. If there are any questions about the status of your school, please reach out to our support team at schoolleaders@classdojo.com.
Q. What if I change my school affiliation after signing up my previous school?
A. No worries! We would be happy to support you at your new school and offer support to staff at your previous school. Contact us by submitting a request form here.
