Already connected to your child's teacher, but still seeing a pending student connection on your parent account? No worries at all! Follow the steps below to remove the pending connection from the web, iOS, and Android devices.
From the Web
When you request to join a teacher's class and connect to a student, the request will show as "pending" until the teacher approves it. If you need to delete the pending request, here's how:
- From your parent account, the pending connection request will show on the left side of the screen under "All Stories"
- Click on the child's name
- Click "Remove [Child's Name]"
The connection request will be automatically deleted. 🎉
iOS
When you request to join a teacher's class and connect to a student, the request will show as "pending" until the teacher approves it. If you need to delete the pending request, here's how:
- Log into your parent account on the iOS app
- Tap on the "Kids" tab at the bottom of the screen
- Tap the pending child that you would like to remove
- Tap the three horizontal dots in the upper right corner and click "Remove [Child's Name]"
- Confirm the decision by selecting the "Yes, remove" button in the pop-up window
Android
When you request to join a teacher's class and connect to a student, the request will show as "pending" until the teacher approves it. If you need to delete the pending request, here's how:
- Log into your parent account on the Android app
- Tap on the "Kids" tab at the bottom of the screen
- Find the pending child that you would like to remove
- Tap the gear icon in the upper right corner and click "Remove [Child's Name]"
- Confirm the decision by selecting the red "Yes, remove" button in the pop-up window
