Troubleshooting Tips for Families

Having trouble with the ClassDojo app or website? No worries—we’ve got a few easy things you can try to get back on track!

📱 Using the App?

1. Try uninstalling the app and reinstalling it from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). This refreshes your app and usually clears up any glitches.

Here’s how to do this on iOS (Apple):

  • Navigate to the home screen of your device and locate the ClassDojo app icon
  • Hold down on the ClassDojo app icon
  • Click "Remove", and then "Delete app"
  • Search for ClassDojo within the iOS App Store and reinstall it

Here’s how to do this on Android:

  • Navigate to the home screen of your device and locate the ClassDojo app icon
  • Hold down on the ClassDojo app icon
  • Click "Remove"
  • Search for ClassDojo within the Google Play Store and reinstall it

2. Make sure your device is running the most recent version of the operating system. You can find this information in your phone’s settings app.

3. If you’re still having trouble after reinstalling the app, try restarting your device. This can help clear background data that could be slowing things down.

📶 Check Your Connection

Sometimes the issue is your internet, not the app. Try switching between:

  • Wi-Fi and mobile data (on your phone or tablet)
  • Home and work networks 

💻 Try a Different Device

Log in to your ClassDojo account on another device, like a different phone, tablet, or computer, to see if this is a device-specific issue.

🌐 Try the Website 

If the app still isn’t working properly, try logging in here using a web browser (like the Google Chrome app!) to see if you're experiencing trouble on the website as well.
