Dojo Sparks provides interactive lessons—available with a Dojo Sparks subscription—that help students build their reading skills all within the ClassDojo app. Whether you're just getting started or helping your student explore independently, here’s how to access Dojo Sparks at home and jump into the fun.
How To Access Dojo Sparks on the App
Dojo Sparks lessons are currently available in the ClassDojo app on iOS or Android devices. Once you've subscribed to Dojo Sparks, follow these steps to get started:
- Log into the ClassDojo app using your existing Parent Account.
- Tap the Dojo Sparks banner at the top of your Story feed.
- First time using Dojo Sparks? You’ll be asked to review and provide consent for your student to access the lessons. Learn more about consent here.
- Tap Start Learning
- Choose which student you'd like to begin lessons with.
- You’ll be taken to the Dojo Sparks landing page.
- Want to adjust lesson progress or settings? Tap Grown-ups.
- Ready to begin? Tap Start, then pass the device to your student to begin the lesson!
Want your student to access Dojo Sparks on their own device?
You can help them log in by following these steps:
- From your Parent Account, tap the Kids tab.
- Tap Log in under your student's name.
- Choose This device or Different device and follow the on-screen instructions.

💡Tip: If the Dojo Sparks banner isn’t showing in your student’s account, it’s likely that consent hasn’t been granted yet. Only the purchasing parent account can give consent.
