What is the Adventure Pass?
The Adventure Pass is an optional subscription that unlocks extra features and experiences in Dojo Islands at home. It is only available at home, not in the classroom. It adds even more ways for kids to explore with their friends, create, and personalize their adventures — all within the same safe, teacher-approved virtual world.
What is included in the Adventure Pass?
With Adventure Pass, you get:
- Pets - Adopt and care for several pets who join you on your adventures and react to the world as they explore.
- Mystery Island - Explore a whole new island full of problem-solving challenges and fun rewards.
- Building Zones - Unlock unique zones where you and your friends can explore, build, and collect exclusive blocks and tools.
- Rocket Boots - Blast off and explore the world from above as you fly around the island.
- Exclusive Costumes - Enter costume tents to swap your outfit for new costumes with special abilities.
Additional benefits will be provided to Adventure Pass subscribers throughout the year.
Where will my child see information about the Adventure Pass?
Adventure Pass information may appear in Dojo Islands when your child is playing at home and interacts with a feature that is associated with the Adventure Pass. Kids can tap “Ask My Parent” to send an email request, but only a parent can approve a purchase.
Adventure Pass will not appear in the classroom version of Dojo Islands.
How can I sign up my child for the Adventure Pass subscription?
There are 2 ways to sign up.
Go directly to the website:
- Go to adventurepass.classdojo.com
- Select LOGIN WITH CLASSDOJO and log in with your parent account
- Review the info, select the subscription option, and enter your payment info
Your child requests it from within the game:
- Open the game
- Attempt to access a subscription feature (e.g. pets or premium costume tent)
- When the Adventure Pass info appears, click or tap ASK MY PARENT, which will send an email to the parent’s email account
- A new window will appear and you can do one of the following:
- check the email that was sent to you
- scan the QR code that is displayed, using another device
- copy the link and paste it into a browser
Can we try the subscription first before paying for it?
Yes. Families can try the Adventure Pass with a 7-day free trial for the monthly or annual plan, or a 3-day trial with the weekly plan. You can cancel at any time during the trial period at no cost. You will be charged automatically for the subscription at the end of the free trial.
Will I be automatically charged after the trial?
If you choose to start a free trial, the subscription will automatically begin at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand. We provide clear information about pricing and renewal during the sign-up process and make it easy to cancel, so there are no surprises.
How much does the subscription cost? What is the billing cadence?
The Adventure Pass subscription offers several options, and you can choose the plan that works best for your family.
- $3.99 per week
- $9.99 per month (billed monthly)
- $59.99 (billed annually, at a 50% discount compared to monthly)
Can all of my kids use one Adventure Pass subscription?
Yes. Adventure Pass is tied to the parent’s account, and the benefits are extended to all children who are listed under the parent. If any of your children do not have an active ClassDojo account, you can sign them up for a new account at DojoIslands.com.
How do I cancel?
You can modify or cancel your subscription at any time on the subscription management page. A link to this page is included in the subscription emails, or you can go to adventurepass.classdojo.com. Once the subscription is canceled, you will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
Is Dojo Islands still free?
Yes. The core Dojo Islands experience is still free and will remain free. All of the content that was included with the game previously is still available to everyone, including those without a subscription. The Adventure Pass subscription adds additional content and perks for families who want more ways to play.
What happens to my child’s account when the subscription is cancelled and is no longer active?
Access to the subscription features is only available when the subscription is active. You can resubscribe at any time to gain access again.
If your child had adopted pets while the subscription was active, they will still keep the pets they adopted, but the pets can no longer be equipped to your child’s character.
Can my child subscribe without my permission?
No. Children cannot subscribe on their own. The Dojo Islands subscription will require explicit parent approval, including a parental gate and payment authorization. Children do not have the ability to complete a purchase on their own.
Does subscribing give kids an advantage?
No. While the Adventure Pass adds exciting creative and customization options, it does not give subscribers a competitive advantage or impact participation, learning activities, or core gameplay.
We’ve intentionally designed the experience to avoid anything that would give someone an unfair advantage. For example, the special abilities that are included with premium outfits are disabled when playing games and activities with other kids in the Playground.
Are students being marketed to?
No. Dojo Islands at school is for learning and collaboration, and we're keeping it that way. Students will never see subscription prompts in the classroom version of Dojo Islands, and the subscription content will not be visible there.
