What Do Students See When They Access Their Accounts?

Welcome to the student side of ClassDojo! When students access their accounts, they enter a world of interactive learning and communication. They can see their feedback points, view and complete assigned activities, and check out the class story. Students can also customize their avatars and access their portfolios to review and reflect on their work. It's a fun and engaging way for them to stay connected and motivated in their learning journey. Discover what your students experience when they login to ClassDojo below:

  • Their Monster—When students log in, their monster will be in the upper left-hand side of the home screen. They can click on the ‘play’  button in the box with the monster to customize the body, color, eyes, mouth, and clothing or to play Dojo Islands.
  • Active Classes with Point Totals - The student’s active classes will show up with the total number of points the student has in that class in the middle left-hand side of the screen. Clicking on the class will pull up the total number of points they have in that class and their total for the day.
  • Their Report - Clicking on “View Report” will pull up the student’s report for the current week for all classes.
  • Assigned Activities - Under “To Do” at the top of the screen, students will see all of their assigned activities. Clicking “Start” will pull up the page for them to complete the activity. Clicking “View All” will bring them to the “Portfolio" tab where they will see all assigned activities, any drafts of posts, and all completed activities.
  • Class Story Feed  - The student will be able to see the Class Story for all active classes they are connected to in a chronological feed under “Stories” on the homepage.
  • Portfolios Page - Clicking on the “Portfolio” tab at the top of the page will bring up the student’s assigned portfolio activities as well as a feed of their drafts, completed, and approved portfolio activities.
