  2. Enter a name for your class, select the grade level or year, then click “Create."
  3. In the menu that appears, you can invite co-teachers by adding their names or email addresses and then clicking "Send invites" to invite the teacher. You can also add co-teachers later.

    • To add students manually, you can search for students in the School Directory and import them to the class, bringing along any existing parent connections. If no match exists, click the plus sign "Add" option to create a new profile for the student.
  5. Click “Save” to finalize your class setup.

Desde las aplicaciones

School Leaders can easily create a class using the apps. Please see these instructions  to learn how to create a new class on the Android or iOS app.

As the creator of the class, you will, by default, be listed as the class owner. Only the class owner has the ability to add or remove co-teachers from within the class settings. If you would like to remain listed as the owner of the class, you can share the class with another teacher. Please note that in order to share a class, the teacher you’re sharing it with must be a school-approved member of your school.

You can also transfer ownership of the class to another teacher and remain co-teacher in the class. Alternatively, you can transfer ownership of the class to another teacher and leave the class entirely

Please note, in order to transfer a class:

  • The individual you'd like to transfer to must also be a school-approved member of your school
  • The individual you'd like to transfer to must already be a co-teacher in the class.
  • Once the class has a new owner, you'll be set as a co-teacher. If you’d like, you can remove yourself from the class after you've transferred ownership.

As the School Leader, you have the ability to add co-teachers and transfer ownership of a class in the Directory regardless of your connection to the class.
