When you send a mass message, it will be delivered to each parent individually, ensuring privacy and avoiding a group thread. This feature allows you to efficiently share information while maintaining clear and organized communication. Follow these steps to learn how to send a mass message on ClassDojo!
From the Web
- Open your class
- Click on the “Chats” tab
- Click on the compose icon at the top of your feed
- Select "Mass message"
- Click on the parents you would like to include in the Mass message and then select "Next"
- Type your message in the box and then click "Send" to send it right away or the downward-facing arrow to schedule the message
From iOS
- Tap on the “Chats” tab at the bottom of your app
- Tap on the compose icon button in the lower right corner of the screen
- Select "Mass message"
- Select the name of your class
- Select each parent you'd like included in the message, then tap "Next"
- Type your message in the box and then tap the paper place icon to send it right away
- To schedule your message to be sent at a different time, tap the clock icon below the text box and set your desired delivery date and time
From Android
- Open your class
- Tap the “Chats” button in the bottom right corner of the screen
- Click the pencil icon to create a new thread
- Tap on "Mass Message"
- Select each parent you'd like included in the message, then tap "Next"
- Type your message in the box and then tap the arrow to send it right away, or press down on the arrow for three seconds to schedule to send the message at a future time 🎉
