How to Report a Chat Sent to you on ClassDojo (for Families)

Chats on ClassDojo give you an easy way to connect with others in your school community. This is a positive place to support your child’s learning—kindness and respect are key! If you see content or behavior that goes against our community guidelines, please report it to our moderation team using the steps listed below when using the Web, iOS, or Android device.

How to report a user 

  1. Open your Chats tab
  2. Click on the chat thread of the user you wish to report
  3. In the upper right-hand corner, click on the "# people" button
  4. Click on the three-dot menu next to the user's name
  5. Click "Report" to report the user
  6. Choose the reason you are reporting the user
  7. Type any additional details of why you are reporting the user and then click "Submit report"

How to report a user via a specific message sent

  1. Open your Chats tab
  2. Click on the thread of the user you wish to report
  3. Click on the three-dot button next to the message sent
  4. Click "Report" to report the message
  5. Choose the reason you are reporting the user
  6. Type any additional details of why you are reporting the user and then click "Submit report"

  3. Tap on the profile picture in the upper right corner 
  4. Tap on the three-dot menu next to the user's name
  5. Tap "Report" to report this user
  6. Choose the reason you are reporting the user
  7. Type any additional details of why you are reporting the user and then click "Submit

How to report a user via a specific message sent

  1. Open your Chats tab
  2. Tap on the thread of the user you wish to report
  3. Tap and hold down the message you want to report
  4. Tap "Report" in the pop-up menu
  5. Choose the reason you are reporting the user
  6. Type any additional details of why you are reporting the user and then click "Submit"
