Your privacy is in your hands. Families can now choose who’s able to message them on ClassDojo — whether that’s just teachers and school staff, or other families too. If you opt to connect with other families, you can message them directly (without sharing phone numbers or emails). And if not, you’ll stay hidden from their contact lists. Here's how to update your settings anytime.
From the App:
Open the ClassDojo app
Tap your profile picture in the top left corner
Click the gear icon to go to your Account Settings
Select "Chats"
Choose your Privacy Settings
That’s it! To exit this screen and save your settings, click the back arrow in the top left corner
*Please note-The new parent-to-parent messaging feature has been rolled out to most schools, but it hasn’t reached every community just yet. If you're not seeing these settings in your account, it's likely that your school community does not yet have access to this feature! We expect all schools will gain access soon, and once your school community receives access to Parent Chat, you’ll see the updated privacy settings reflected in your app.
