Need to update your school affiliation on ClassDojo? No problem! Whether you're moving to a new school or simply need to make a change, leaving your current school is quick and easy. Follow these simple steps to remove your school affiliation within your ClassDojo account and ensure your profile stays up-to-date and accurate!
Please note:
- When you leave your current school, you'll no longer have access to any classes that are connected to this school.
- If you teach at multiple schools and need to remain connected to your current school, we recommend you join multiple schools. Yes, you can join more than one school now, and toggle between them!
From the Web
Here's how to leave your school from the web:
- If you are connected to multiple schools, make sure you are toggled into the school you need to leave
- Log into your account here
- Click on the profile icon and select "Account settings"
- Click "Advanced"
- Click the red “Leave” button next to your school’s name
- Click on the toggle switch and click “Yes, leave school” to remove your account from the Directory
From the iOS App
Here's how to leave your school from the iOS app:
- If you are connected to multiple schools, make sure you are toggled into the school you need to leave
- Tap the button in the top left of the screen to open your account switcher
- Tap the gear icon beside your name to open your settings
- Scroll down in your account setting to where you see "Leave X School"
- Tap the red button to remove your connection to the school
From the Android App
Here's how to leave your school from the Android app:
- If you are connected to multiple schools, make sure you are toggled into the school you need to leave
- From your dashboard, tap on your school's name
- Tap on the 3 dot button in the top right corner of your screen
- Select "Change school"
- Select "Leave" to confirm you'd like to leave your current school
