How do I access Sidekick?
Currently, Sidekick is only available on the website and in schools located in the US, Canada, and the UK. To access Sidekick please follow these steps:
- Log into your teacher account
- On the left side of the screen tap “Sidekick”
- Begin exploring all the possibilities with Sidekick!
Tips and tricks to use Sidekick
- Check it - remember AI isn’t perfect, always be sure to preview the content before using it
- Add your own personal touch - start with the AI response but then give feedback to Sidekick so that it can craft something that is truly you
- Know your limits - be sure to stick to your school’s rules with using AI
- Privacy first - Skip adding in personal information such as names or addresses
- Be specific- make sure you clearly state what you would like the AI to generate and if the message is meant to be lighthearted/fun or professional
- Practice- try a variety of prompts to see where it takes you! Make sure to add follow-ups or additional prompts to the feedback to get it just right
