Posting to multiple Class Story feeds

Want to share the same update with several classes, without copying and pasting it again and again? Good news: you can! 😊

With the multi-audience option, you can create a single post and share it across multiple Class Story feeds at the same time. It’s a simple way to keep families in the loop while saving yourself a few extra steps.

Please note that at this time, posting to multiple Class Stories is only available on the website. đŸ’» If you need to do this from your mobile device, try logging into teach.classdojo.com from your mobile browser.

How to post to multiple Class Story feeds

  1. Log into the website from teach.classdojo.com.
☝ Multi-audience posts cannot be created on the app at this time.

  2. Open one of the classes where you want the post to appear.

  3. Click the multi-audience button in the bottom-left corner of the post composer.

  5. Create your post and add any attachments.

  6. Click Post.

💡 You can also schedule multi-audience posts the same way you schedule any other Class Story post.

What families see

Each class still has its own private Class Story feed.

That means:

  • Families only see posts from their child’s class.

  • Likes, comments, and views stay within each class.

For example, if a family in Class A likes your post, families in Class B won’t see that activity, and vice versa. This helps keep each class’s community and conversations private.

A few things to keep in mind

  • 📆 Events can’t be scheduled across multiple class feeds at this time.

  • ✏ If you need to edit or delete a post, you’ll need to do it separately in each class feed.

  • ✅ The class you started the post from can’t be unchecked in the audience selector.

  • 📝 You must create the post from a Class Story feed. The multi-audience option won’t appear when posting to the School Story.

  • 🍎 Multi-audience posts aren’t available for demo classes or personal classes (classes not connected to your school).
