Rewarding students for their hard-earned points is a great way to motivate and encourage positive behavior in the school. Using the school point redemption feature, School Leaders and Admins can easily redeem school points for rewards that students will love. Whether it's for small prizes, privileges, or special activities, redeeming points helps recognize and celebrate students' efforts. 🎉
Please Note:
- Redeemed school points will be subtracted from the student’s school point balance.
- A student’s school point balance includes ALL points received for schoolwide skills, whether in class or outside of class.
- The Schoolwide point report and dashboard will continue to show all points earned during the selected time period
- This feature is not yet available on the Android app.

You can redeem an individual student’s school points on the website by following these instructions:
- Open the Points Dashboard.
- Click the “Redeem” button in the upper right corner.
- Select a student.
- Enter the number of points you would like to redeem. (you will be able to redeem up to the number of points the student currently has in their bubble)
- You can choose to add a note. (optional)
- Click "Redeem points."
You can redeem multiple student’s school points at once on the website by following these instructions:

Who can redeem schoolwide points?
School Leaders and Admins can redeem school points. Teachers are only able to redeem student points within their classes.
How does school point redemption impact teacher’s classes?
In case teachers would like to continue their own point economy inside of their class, we wanted to be sure that school point redemptions do not impact the points given in class. For this reason, points given for schoolwide skills in a class go to both the class balance and the school balance. If you redeem a student's school point balance, it won't impact the class point balance.
What points are included in a student’s school balance?
A student’s school balance includes the total points awarded for schoolwide skills in both their class and in the Schoolwide point dashboard. This allows School Leaders/Admins to redeem all points given for schoolwide skills.

A student’s class balance is the total points awarded in the class, including both class skills and schoolwide skills. This allows teachers to redeem all points given in class.
If schoolwide points given in a class are added to both a student’s school balance and class balance, does this mean that the same points can be redeemed in both places?
Yes, it does. Class redemptions don’t affect the school balance. Likewise, school redemptions don’t affect the class balance. This allows the School Leaders to have a schoolwide reward system tied to those schoolwide skill points. It also allows teachers to have a class reward system separately if they would like.
I would like for students to have one point balance, instead of having a school balance and a class balance. What can I do?
We don't currently support displaying a single point balance across all classes and the school. However, if you are only using schoolwide skills at your school, then a student’s school point balance is their single balance. We’re currently exploring a setting to display this balance across classes!
Can Teachers see school point redemptions?
Yes, teachers see their student's current redeemable 'school point balance' when they tap a student monster inside the class.
