ClassDojo’s new privacy settings let you choose whether other families can find and message you. If you opt in, you’ll have a flexible space to connect — whether it’s planning a playdate, sharing a sweet photo from the zoo, or swapping tips on after-school snacks. These chats are just between families, and completely separate from school communication.

How to start a chat from the ClassDojo app
From your account, tap Chats on the bottom navigation bar
Tap the Message icon in the bottom right corner
Use the search bar to find the family you want to message
Tap their name to open a new chat thread
Type your message and tap the paper airplane icon to send
