How to Connect (and Disconnect) to Canva

ClassDojo partners with Canva to make it easy for districts, schools, and teachers to share designs straight to their Story. 🎉

Already creating beautiful resources in Canva? Now you can post them directly to your Class Story or School Story- no extra downloads needed. 

Connect Your Canva Account

Here’s how to get set up:

1. Create a new Story post in your class or school.
2. Click the Canva icon in the post composer.
   • Don't see the Canva icon? We’re gradually rolling out this feature, so it might not be available at your school just yet. Hang tight —once your school community gets access, it’ll appear automatically—no extra steps needed on your end. 🙌
3. Check the box to enable the Canva integration.
4. A new window will open—log in to Canva using your preferred sign-in method (Google, Microsoft, etc.). Please note: If your district or school has a Canva account, make sure you log in with your school-provided credentials
5. Once logged in, you’re all set!
    

That’s it! You can start sharing your Canva designs directly to your Story feed!

Disconnect Your Canva Account

Connected the wrong account? Want to switch from a personal Canva account to your school email instead? No problem- it’s easy to disconnect.

From the Canva website:

1. Click your profile icon (top right).
2. Select Settings.
3. Click Integrations.
4. Find ClassDojo and select Disconnect.
