What is a ClassDojo Admin?

ClassDojo Admin permissions allow trusted teachers and school staff members to keep their school's information up-to-date and secure. With Admin permissions, teachers and school staff members can help manage students, staff, and classes in your Directory and moderate the School Story feed. This helps keep school information organized, accurate, and running smoothly.

School Leaders (like principals, assistant principals, and other school administrators) automatically have Admin permissions, and they can grant these permissions to any approved staff member listed in their school's Directory.

Changing schools

If you have Admin permissions and you change schools, you will lose your Admin permissions and will need to be granted access to your new school.

My school doesn’t have an Admin

We want to set schools up for success and are happy to help get Admin permissions added to a teacher or school staff account to help set up their school! If your school does not have a School Leader or a staff member with Admin permissions, and you know that your Principal would like to designate you to have these permissions, please submit a request form here
